The Fall / Winter 2005 issue of The Grove Review
has been published and is now available!
Featuring new poetry, short fiction, photography, art work, and interviews from
an exciting group of artists the second issue of The Grove Review promises
something for everyone. New poetry by acclaimed poets Michael Collier, Lola
Haskins, Paulann Petersen and Kim Stafford, fiction by Tracy Daugherty, wonderful
artwork by Joshua Flint, Paul Gentry and Nicole Rawlins, and stunning photography
by Steve Pierce can all be found in this issue.
Features include the second "On Poetry" interview with Michael Collier,
Director of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference and Maryland Poet Laureate, who
invites us into some of the memorable and impressionable moments in his life
that shaped him as a writer. Carlos Kalmar, Conductor and Music Director of
the Oregon Symphony, is the subject of the first "On Creativity" interview
and both examines and celebrates the instinct that writers, performers and all
of us share; the need to create.
The Grove Review can be purchased
online or at select independent booksellers in the greater Pacific Northwest
area.
